‘Get your bird dog back into the hunt’

We are not training our pointing dogs to cut back and forth the entire time we are hunting, that would be silly. Cutting or turning your dog on command is a hunting technique to help us harvest more birds.

Starting at the puppy stage, we incorporate early foundational exercises; ‘teaching & commanding a directional change’. To do this right, you’ll need the proper training equipment, conditions and knowing how to build on success, starting small is essential.

The goal is to be able to control your pointing dog and command a directional change while hunting without the dog stopping to turn. To do this you’ll need to incorporate verbal & nonverbal command techniques and knowing how to set the dog up for success.

Get your dog back into the hunt by turning it with an E-collar tone, we do not teach hand signals.
